Commonwealth Internet Banking
|
Internet banking has emerged as a potential solution to many banking problems. It has taken the banking to a new level by effectively managing the huge crowd of customers and saving valuable time, energy and resourceful human hours which were being spent unnecessarily in petty issues or transactions. Commonwealth internet banking is such an initiative taken by the commonwealth bank to provide the customers with seamless delivery of services at the click of a mouse without spending time to stand in a long cue at the door of the bank.Gone are the days when the customers had to go to pay their bills to the utility centres. Now they can pay their bills by sitting at their home without taking an extra day leave , just for paying the utility bill. This will be unjust if we limit this discussion of commonwealth internet banking to just the bill payment facility. Now the commonwealth internet banking provides a plethora of internet baking services. One can do unlimited transactions. By using the NEFT and RTGS facility one can send money to any bank in the region. However while sending money one has to follow a process of registering the payee and then authorize the process for transfer of money to the desired account. This facility has been done to safeguard the interest of the internet banker. There was a time when to make a bank draft the customer had to go to bank and fill in a form and wait for his turn to come so that he can deposit the cash at the teller and then take the receipt and wait till the demand draft is ready. The internet banking has brought an end to the hectic process. Now one can order the demand draft online. This is not all, one can also open one fixed deposit account online and also can pay for the credit card bill online. Even internet banking has been incorporated with the mobile devices. But to avail the service on the mobile some basic application should be supported by the mobile device. So as you see the internet banking has gone so far to make everything easy to the banker, it might raise a question in your mind. That is " how secure is mobile banking." Mobile banking requires username and password and for safety of the customers the bankers always advice to not share the username and password with anyone. |
